Hello I’m Jamie!

I became a hairstylist in 2009 and fell in love with my career. I have always had an eye for fashion. From cutting Barbie’s hair to giving her first haircut in the seventh grade, she has always known that she wanted to be a hair stylist. I attended the first class at Aveda Institute Portand and graduated fully licensed, with honors.

After growing up in Beaverton, Oregon I dreamed of finding a career that would allow me to live a wealthy life full of love, fun, and work-life balance. I welcomed my son at 25, and with the pressure on to create an incredible life for my family I decided to grow my career independently and eventually open a studio salon inside the beautiful Malva House of Hair.

I chose my career because I love helping people see the best versions of themselves. I have always loved being on top of fashion trends and helping people try something new. Having fine delicate hair myself, extensions changed my life! After then I knew I wanted to share my love and specialize in extensions. I have tried and trained in everytype of extensions out there and I am absolutley in love with hand-tied hair extensions. Extensions have allowed me to create ideas outside the box, and to help clients achieve their hair dreams. My love for the beauty industry has never been stronger, and my passion for education keeps me up to date on all the latest tips and trends.

Confession: I am a hair geek, and I spend my free time taking classes in person and online. Im certified in Babe Hair extensions, I trained with Habit Hand-Tied Extensions, I am also certified in Invisible Bead Extensions. I own a private upscale studio salon inside NAHA nominated salon, Malva House of Hair.

With my expertise I am able to provide an honest opinion, suggestions for change, and a little magic.
